Prize Money

£5 to 1st place (5 entries or more)

It is the responsibility of the rider to collect the prize money from the pavilion on the day of the event. No prize money will be given after the event.

NB: A competitor can only show one animal in each class. If an owner is showing more than one animal it must be entered in the handler’s name. To qualify for points the handler must be a paid-up member.

Please make sure that your entry is correct before handing it in. If you change the name of a horse mid-season it will be classed as two different horses so try and be consistent. Any queries or concerns regarding the points please make them in writing preferably by e-mail to Amy Bolan so that they can be checked carefully.

What does your BRC Membership Include?

Longton Riding club is an affiliated riding club which means as a British Riding Club member a portion of the £31.00 membership fee goes to the British Horse Society.  

The amount that goes to the British Horse Society is now £16.00 and this entitles you to the following:

  • Access to local and national competitions including Area Qualifiers and Championships. As an affiliated riding club you have opportunities to ride in area points and inter-club competitions.

  • A quarterly instalment of news, information and articles exclusive for BRC members, via Rider Magazine and e-mail.
