Introductions

Postby rob_ridley7ttw » Mon Aug 24, 2009 3:39 pm

I've decided to add this new category to the forums to make it easier for us to know who each other is.

Sometimes the user names don't make it obvious as to how you are, so if you'd like to write a short introduction about yourself, here is the place to do it.

This makes it easier for me as well to identify committee members, to add to the committee group.

I'll make a start -

rob_ridley7ttw = Rob Ridley

I don't ride myself *, I'm married to Lucinda and help her with the Social Committee activities and I also look after the website and these forums.

* Since lucinda forgot to fasten the saddle once, and I ended up on the floor - that was enough for me ;-)

Over to you.........

Hi, I'm Julie and I'm on the Social Committee with Lucinda and Jane. We've had real fun this year organising various fundraisers, although it's been flipping hard work at times as well. It certainly makes you appreciate the hard work the main committee put in year after year. The big excitement now is the long awaited calendar - we've had a sneak preview and it's absolutely fab! You'll never look at some people in the same way again, so make sure you buy one! :lol:

Hi Jane here. I am on the social committee too and Julie is right it has been a very busy year for us. I feel that we have acheived loads and I hope that there are many more great things to come. My daughter Samantha rides at the shows and she has gained loads of confidence from competing. Look out for all of us on the calender.......who knows who you might recognise!!!!
