Please read below for further information regarding practice nights and training sessions plus contact details:-
 
PRACTICE NIGHTS:
During the summer months, the showground is made available for Practice Nights, where the Show Jumping, Working Hunter and Dressage arenas are available for use.  (This is subject to ground conditions and availability of staff).
The cost is £5.00 for members and £10.00 for non-members. No need to book, just turn up and pay on the night.
When dates for the Practice Nights are available, they will be announced at the points shows, posted on the website and on Facebook.
 
SHOW JUMPING TRAINING: -  (Non members only by arrangement - LRC member take priority)
LRC Winter Showjumping Training at Osbaldeston.  Two sessions, 7-8pm and 8-9pm. £15 per session; must be booked and paid for in advance.  All cheques are to be made payable to Longton Riding Club and sent to: Peter Butler, 304 Liverpool Road, Walmer Bridge, Preston.  PR4 5GD.
 
Places go fast so please contact Peter without delay if you want to secure a place, indicating which session you would prefer.  Available dates are listed below.

FLATWORK TRAINING – (Non members only by arrangement - LRC member take priority)
Group flatwork training sessions are held throughout Autumn and Winter at various indoor venues.
Each group session lasts one hour for up to four horses/ponies. Depending on the numbers/mix we aim to provide three sessions per evening.
Charges can vary depending upon the venue and trainer used, but we aim to provide quality training opportunities at affordable prices for our members.

DIRECTIONS to Thompson House:
From M6:  Exit Junction 27.  Follow signs for Parbold but turn right before the garage as if heading towards Derby House, then take the first right into Boundary Lane over the motorway.  Venue is approximably half a mile on the left.
From A49 (heading south):  Proceed along the A49 through Coppull and towards Standish.  Turn right at the roundabout into Pepper Lane.  Venue is approximately 400 yards on the right hand side.
